Liberty Head Nickels: 1883-1912 (1913)

Liberty nickel(or called V nickel) first issued in 1883. Initially, the nickel didn't have its denomination on the coin but just "V"(not alphabet V but Roman number 5)on reverse. And it caused a lot of problems. So the Mint put "Cents" under the V, later in the same year. All coins issued in Philadelphia Mint except 1912 coins. Few 1913 dated coins are exist(5 known), extremly rare.
